The West Texas A&M Buffs trailed Central Washington, 14-3, at the end of the first quarter Saturday afternoon at Tomlinson Stadium in Ellensburg, Wash.
WT reached the CW 7-yard line with a first-and-goal on their final possession of the quarter, but settled for a field goal by kicker James Chandler.
