Looking good...

The latest Pigskin Preview will be on newsstands by the time you read this. It is a different approach to the publication with a stock cover instead of the usual newsprint and I like it and I hope you do as well.

Look for our coverage all year long as we follow the stories that will unfold leading up to the title games.

Hope you guys are as ready as the Globe-News sports department cause we can't wait to see what happens out on the field.

WT wins, 31-25

West Texas A&M knocked off Nebraska-Omaha, 31-25, in the Kanza Bowl Saturday in Topeka, Kan.

WT answers, leads 31-22

WT quarterback Taylor Harris hit Brittan Golden for a 38-yard score, giving the Buffs a 31-22 lead with 8:23 left in the Kanza Bowl.

Nebraska-Omaha scored on a two-yard run by Levi Terrell, cutting WT's lead to 24-22 with 9:34 left in the Kanza Bowl. The Mavericks went for the two-point conversion on a pass, but it fell incomplete.

The WT Buffs stretched their lead to 24-16 over Nebraska-Omaha with 4:57 left in the third quarter on a 40-yard screen pass from Taylor Harris to Keithon Flemming.
