Home sweet home

West Texas A&M head coach Don Carthel was pleased with the play of Bryan Braman in Saturday's 34-10 loss at Central Washington.

Braman finished with two unassisted tackles against the Wildcats, which was sort of a homecoming.

Braman hails from Spokane, Wash.

"(Braman) played extremely well," Carthel said. "He might have been motivated by his family. He has about 30 family members that live in Washington. They were all there hoopin' and hollerin.' "

Braman, a junior, has four tackles in three games this season, including one for a 7-yard loss.

Someone fill me in on the kickoff tackle that Braman made. I heard that it was a spectacular play?

Yeah it was a good hit. I saw it on the internet live TV feed. I watched him play the past 2 seasons at Long Beach City College in California. Excellent pass rusher. Hits hard but then picks the opponents up and tells 'em "good job."
