Kingsville the king of weekly LSC awards

Guess which team in the Lone Star Conference South Division has the most player of the week awards? Texas A&M-Kingsville, with eight. EIGHT! That twice as many as No. 4 ranked Abilene Christian, which usually has twice as many as the other six teams in the South combined. West Texas A&M has had three, yet is 6-0 and ranked No. 5 in Division II. Guess which Buffs player has not been honored? Charly Martin. Martin is WT's all-time leader in TD catches and yardage and is second in receptions. He was No. 3 nationally in yardage-per-game in last week's NCAA standings. If he played in the North Division, Martin would have won five awards by now.
